March 2024 Was a Record Month for Us, and Q1 2024 Was the Best Quarter in Company History!

We’re excited to announce that March was another record month in revenue and volume and that Q1 2024 was the best month in company history!

Bitcoin’s performance since the start of the year has been astonishing. The launch of the spot Bitcoin ETFs and massive capital inflow by Wall Street mainly drove this. With this crucial event, Bitcoin managed to convince the most skeptical experts, and so far, they seem to love Bitcoin and started stacking Sats in gigantic amounts.  

At Relai, we’ve also seen the results of this event. Our order volume for this quarter was 1,577 BTC with 30,000 users who buy Bitcoin monthly. 

Since Relai launched, over 100,000 users have bought Bitcoin with us, and we have over 350,000 app downloads, adding 20,000 new app downloads every month. 

An astonishing 98% of our Relaiers are buying and HODLing their Bitcoin. This demonstrates a strong Bitcoin conviction, which we love to see. 
So far, Relai is on track for a trading volume of over CHF 0.5 Billion in 2024, and we’re excited to see where the future is heading!

Bitcoin reached a new all-time high in March, showcasing that we’re just at the brink of the bull market. This is when Bitcoin rewards the investors who’ve been HODLing and buying through the bear market. 

In March, we launched the Lightning Network in the Relai app. With it, users can buy goods or pay for services and experience the speed of Lightning firsthand.

To celebrate this, we launched on Product Hunt, one of the most visited websites on the Internet, and ended up winning the Product of the Day, Week, and even Month prizes in the Fintech and Web3 categories. Don’t judge; there is no Bitcoin-only category yet, but we’re working to make this a reality. 

Relai is used to strong growth, but this successful start to 2024 has surprised even us! Our users have invested over CHF 100 Million in Bitcoin in the first quarter of the year alone, which shows how scalable and future-proof our product is, and it makes us immensely proud!

2024 has been off to an amazing start, and we’re very much looking forward to the next couple of weeks and months, with exciting new features and updates in the pipeline. One of our main focuses now is expanding into Europe and offering Bitcoin to even more people!
