We Are Not Europe’s Easiest Bitcoin App Anymore
Spooked by the title? Bear with me. I believe our brand is one of the strongest assets as a company. We spent considerable effort last year evolving the Relai brand. I believe a strong brand will differentiate us from our competitors, increase the value of our company, and, most importantly, a well-established brand builds trust and loyalty – as a Bitcoin app and startup, this is paramount.
The missing piece of this puzzle was our tagline – that short sentence that tells people who we are and what we stand for. But what makes a great company tagline for a Bitcoin app?
I think it should be concise and memorable. It should accurately reflect the values of the brand and create a sense of connection or aspiration. It should be timeless.
We were known as Europe’s Easiest Bitcoin App, but being the easiest is subjective – what’s easy for me might not be easy for you. It also focuses on the product, on us, rather than you and your ambitions as a customer. People don’t buy products, they buy solutions to problems, and they buy into aspirations – how they want to see themselves.
Today I am excited to announce our new company tagline: “Take control of your future.” This short sentence perfectly encapsulates the core benefit we offer to customers. Our goal as a company is to empower people by offering them simple, user-friendly, and secure access to bitcoin. One of the key benefits of Bitcoin is its ability to provide financial freedom and control to everyone. It is a long-term investment that requires patience and discipline. Bitcoin’s value is not based on the traditional financial system. It can be volatile. Hence, it requires a long-term perspective and a low time preference mindset to be able to weather storms and reap potential long-term benefits. Because of their focus on the future, bitcoin hodlers are more likely to make rational and informed decisions when managing their investments and are less likely to be swayed by short-term opportunities and market volatility.
